Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress best known for her film roles in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, producer and American actor who is active in theater, television and film. She began her career acting in the theatre but then proceeded to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. The actress was famous for her role in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as in BET's massive The Book of Negroes. The series both received reviews, and she also won a lot of awards. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on stage on stage in The Tempest.
