Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd became more confident after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all in the 1st round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd did not have enough weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-- - beat her to an TKO victory in the second round. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the first round she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she's had in a major way. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle with the fighters was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by majority vote.
