Machine Gun Kelly

MachineColson Baker (born April 22 in 1990) is a popular American musician and rapper. The rapper is popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) as a songwriter, actor and a singer. His unique mix of genres in hip-hop and alternative rock is what earned him fame. The mixtapes he released were four between 2007 and 2010 before signing to Bad Boy Records. The album he released first Lace Up (2012 which peaked at 4th place on the US Billboard 200), included his smash single "Wild Boy" with Waka Flocka Flam. General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his third and second albums. The latter included the smash hit single "Bad Things" that was performed by Camila Cabello. It peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo, was the first album of rap rock. In the year 2020, Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album entitled Tickets to My Downfall (2020), came out. It was a departure from hip-hop, and a shift to pop punk. The hit single "My Ex's Best Friend" was the first single to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. It was the first album by a rock artist to achieve this position. The album was followed by the Mainstream Sellout (2022) that also saw him attain the same commercial success. He's since been featured in the action thriller Nerve (2016) as well as the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence and the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
